From School Teacher to Creative Entrepreneur

In 2007, Christine embarked on an 8-year journey as a teacher, even earning her Master's degree and National Board Certification in special education. Teaching seemed like a forever plan.

Fast forward to 2012. While juggling motherhood and teaching, Christine stumbled into making custom home decor and eventually created an Etsy store that rose to the top 1% of Etsy stores!

By 2016, with a second son in tow, the decision was made. She took a leap of faith, leaving teaching to be a full-time mom and entrepreneur. The teacher in her couldn't be completely silenced, though! In 2018, Christine began hosting DIY workshops in our garage. The idea resonated beyond local friends, with people asking, "Can you send these projects to us?" And voila! Project Home DIY was born in 2019.
